Hi! My name is Julia. I’m a ballet costume designer and tutu maker from the Seattle area with over eight years of experience creating custom pieces that bring roles to life on stage. I believe a costume is never just a garment; it’s a story, a transformation, and a touch of magic.

By keeping with the traditions of classical ballet, and using professional techniques and materials chosen to best express character and allow freedom of movement, each costume is crafted to both support the dancer and express the role, reflecting the timeless beauty of ballet.

What I love most is that quiet moment when a dancer sees themselves in the mirror and they’re no longer a performer, but truly someone entirely new, shaped by music, emotion, and role. This metamorphosis is the true heart of the stage, and I’m honored to be part of it.
